A is for… Architecture

AtoZ2019A

About my trip…

Reader and participants of the A to Z Challenge – this April we are taking a trip around my hometown to pull together a set of travel printables that be used by anyone to create their own travel guide for their own hometown (or anywhere that they are planning to visit).

We will be offering each of these printables (one for each letter of the alphabet) for FREE during the duration of the challenge only. So make sure you visit on a regular basis to grab your printables while you can.

A is for… Architecture

We are kicking off with A is for Architecture. Locally we have an “Architecture Centre” for design and the built environment. They aim to inspire people to shape better places through exhibitions, events, learning and live projects. It is not just for architects – it is to educate the general public, inspire the future generations and to help us work better together as a community and have a say in the future of our city.

Hometown Tourist II - architecture

Download your FREE copy of the Architecture Printable to keep track of all the amazing buildings you visit.

Share in the comments: What is your favourite building in your hometown?

OK, what is your home town??? Architecture features in my fiber & paper art on many occasions. Always looking for new inspiration. I’m a journal addict as well. Looking forward to more of your posts.

I live very close to the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill-on-Sea, an Art Deco modernist building constructed in 1935 which is a centre for cultural and art events. It is stunning!

My children’s stories – Are we there yet?

Hello fellow A-to-Zer! Wow! You are amazingly organized! I do like writing things down (I’ve even written a novel longhand, which I am now laboriously typing up), so I think I get it. I like that there is a place for a sketch. That is cool. I also like the idea of Hometown Tourism, because it doesn’t happen as much as it should. Cool stuff!

Hi Thanks for dropping by during the challenge. I am very much a longhand person. I completely get writing a novel longhand – such a labour of love 🙂
